The United Auto Workers and American Axle and Manufacturing Holdings Inc. continued to negotiate Monday after a full weekend of bargaining. About 3600 UAW workers at five American Axle plants in Michigan and New York have been on strike since Feb.

The police have recovered five stolen vehicles besides a country-made revolver and a live cartridge at their instance. According to the police two persons travelling in a Maurti Zen car were stopped for questioning outside National Club at Lahori Gate in North Delhi on Saturday. On their personal search one of the occupants – Mohammad Mousin – was allegedly found to be in possession of a country-made revolver following which he was arrested. The other suspect identified as Mohammad Akhlaq was also arrested and interrogated at length.
