The comment in a joint statement with Xingma Auto rejected earlier media reports suggesting a stake sale was imminent. ‘Both Caterpillar (nyse:… The China Business reported last week that Caterpillar Inc was planning to buy a 20 pct stake in Xingma Auto and that the US company firm had signed a letter of intent to set up a truck engine joint venture with the Chinese firm. Xingma Automobile Group based in the eastern province of Anhui is China’s largest cement concrete truck maker accounting for over 50 pct of the country’s annual sales.
