Chairman Rahul Bajaj said the automobile business company will be headed by his elder son Rajiv while the financial services and wind-farm businesses will be led by younger son Sanjiv. Under the demerger plan Bajaj Auto Ltd has formed two subsidiaries – Bajaj Holding & Investment Ltd (BHIL) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd (BFL). Bajaj Auto has subscribed to 43. 5 mln shares each in both the companies.

Although males have tended to be associated with alcohol-related crashes a study to be presented at the 2007 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Annual Meeting shows that young females are beginning to show an alarming increase in fatal automobile crashes related to alcohol use and a failure to use seatbelts.
