Reviews were mixed last week after 504 laps at Bristol Motor Speedway. Next is the even tighter yet flat turns of Martinsville. A short track similar in length Martinsville is a much different layout than Bristol’s high-banked bowl shape. It has a much narrower width from frontstretch to backstretch with asphalt in the straights and the turns and concrete in the lower grooves of the corners.

Duno will drive a pair of cars entered Thursday by SamaxMotorsport for the May 27th race. Cars for Fisher and former winner Buddy Rice already have beenentered by Dreyer & Reinbold Racing; cars for Patrick and teammatesMichael Andretti Marco Andretti Tony Kanaan and Dario Franchittiare expected from Andretti Green Racing before Wednesday’s entrydeadline. Practice for the race will begin with the annual rookieorientation program on May 6-7. Duno has three wins in the Grand American Racing Series and waspart of the second-place team at this year’s prestigious Daytona24-Hour race the highest finish by a woman in the 45-year historyof the endurance race.

” Don’t you see relatively few people have a hand in an automobile’s final assembly. The best jobs (designing engineering testing etc. ) are not being done by Americans. The parts that go into these cars are not made in America either.
