Zeng Peiyan said Chinese auto companies should bring in advanced technology and management expertise enhance their research and build up their own brands. He added that China should also develop environmentally-friendly cars and new types of car fuels to promote energy saving. China has become the world’s third largest auto producer and second largest auto market to date.

20 (Xinhua) — Chinese automaker Chery said Monday that it will set up a joint venture with a U. -based Fortune Global 500 company to produce automotive interiors in China. The joint venture to be located in Wuhu in East China’s Anhui Province will be equally funded by Chery Automobile Co.
