Kenseth overtook leader Carl Edwards with 11 laps remaining towin Saturday’s NASCAR Busch Ford 300. However a pit stop miscue with 32 laps remaining almost costKenseth the race. When his right-front tire changer missed thelug nut and had to be re-tightened it wiped out a seven-secondlead over Edwards who was able to beat Kenseth out of the pits. When the green flag waved with 28 laps to go Edwards’ Fordpulled away from Paul Menard’s Chevrolet. Kenseth’s Ford haddropped back to fourth place behind Denny Hamlin’s Chevy. Kenseth however was not finished.

Hitherto there was a ban on new registrations in the twin cities. But from now registration and plying of 500 new autorickshaws will be allowed. rders were issued on Tuesday reserving 500 route permits for women in Hyderabad and 100 each in Vijayawada and Vizag. The decision to relax the `no-new-auto registration’ rule was taken in view of the increasing number of tourists visiting the city.

The company runs a joint venture with Mazda and China’s Chang’an Motor Corp in Chongqing Municipality in the southwest. Together they are building a new plant in Nanjing capital city of East China’s Jiangsu Province which is expected to be operational by 2007. Cheng said Ford is investing US$20 million into the first phase of creating a new a research and engineering centre in Nanjing.

The C-segment jumped by 50 per cent till June. Meanwhile the D-segment showed strong growth as well after two years of sluggish performance due to some major new product launches such as Toyota Camry and Reiz. With the economy growing quickly in 2006 institutional buyers also recovered from 2004 restraints and started to buy. The second half of 2006 does not seem to be as optimistic as it was in the first six months.
